History

The Full Story

Run Club at Ball State (originally BSRA) was founded in October of 2003 and has since grown into one of the most visible sports clubs at Ball State. Run Club is a proud member of NIRCA, or the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association, and represents Ball State at several races each year, including the NIRCA Regional and National Races. NIRCA enables us to compete with clubs from other colleges and universities across the United States. NIRCA has a cross-country season in the fall and a track season in the spring. Run Club at Ball State is also the host of the oldest NIRCA-sanctioned race, the MC5, held each year at Mounds State Park.

Run Club caters to runners of all ability levels and is a highly social club. Each semester the club hosts several pasta dinners, bowling trips, and other fun events that help club members bond and grow closer! We are a group of friends who love to run. We encourage you to come out and join the fun!
